This is a story of how a question sparked an idea of empowerment and innovation. This is the story of our humble beginnings, our sacrifices and battles, and of bringing positive impact to people around the world.
In 2013, Hector Sunol left his corporate job and started a venture that embraces social entrepreneurship. In the same year, Hector approached Cristobal Pascual to join. Meanwhile, Manuel Cassola expressed his desire to accompany Hector and Cristobal.
Cyzerg was then founded by Hector, Cristobal, and Manuel to fulfill the dream of opening a company with minimal or no politics that embraced meritocracy and contributed to society. The intention to create a positive ripple effect became the basis of the company's logo. Like a rock thrown on the water that forms growing waves, Cyzerg aims to create a substantial impact on the lives of its people and the industry that it serves.
In 2016, Cyzerg aimed to surpass established tech support industry standards. To do this, Cyzerg decided to open a network operations center to proactively monitor, detect, and respond to customers’ systems needs around the clock. This proactive approach to system monitoring will minimize customers' downtime to accommodate the industry's time sensitivity.
This new undertaking meant implementing a 24/7 monitoring system across all its customers' IT infrastructure and hiring a team of engineers to analyze, review, and respond to every single system alert or performance deviation. The new NOC also provided a platform for Cyzerg to extend its technical support hours to 24/7/365.
After successfully opening the NOC, Cyzerg continued with the next phase of its plan by opening a research and development center to develop innovative software solutions to lead the industry in warehouse digitalization.
The new R&D center would leverage Cyzerg's experience in the warehousing industry and develop digitalization solutions to streamline warehousing operations. The goal is to help warehouses optimize processes through automation, reduce errors, and improve visibility and forecasting. The new solutions would be part of an open and friendly ecosystem that third-party vendors could easily leverage and integrate with.
After successfully opening the R&D center, Cyzerg was equipped to deliver on the needs of the enterprise space.
In 2018, Cyzerg developed a custom Warehouse In-Transit enterprise solution for a major international third-party logistics provider (3PL). As part of this effort, Cyzerg developed a cloud native-based In-Transit WMS that replaced an outdated platform, introduced the latest mobile and automation solutions, and integrated internal and external systems. The new system allowed the customer to reduce operating costs by approximately $14,400/month and helped the customer secure a multimillion-dollar contract with a key client.
To further expand Cyzerg's capabilities in developing cutting-edge digitalization technologies for the warehouse and distribution center industry, a second research and development center was opened in the center of India’s high-tech industry.
The R&D center was established in Bengaluru for its exceptional IT-versed talent pool. With this, Cyzerg can develop and test new technologies faster and bring innovative solutions to the market. This is a testament to the company's commitment to creating new products that will enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of warehouses and DCs.
In 2022, the company officially launched the first module of Warehouse Orchestrator (Dimensioning Module). Warehouse Orchestrator is an open ecosystem of software modules that would allow warehouses and DCs to orchestrate their operations end to end without migrating from their current solutions.
In partnership with Integrated Freight Systems, the company launched the first truly CRM system for the supply chain. The system allows companies of any size to manage all or most of their supply chain stakeholders from a centralized platform while simplifying and centralizing supply chain quoting capabilities.
